What to include in a calculation report
- The calculator name and page address.
- A small, fictional set of inputs that reproduces the problem, with units and selected options.
- The result shown and the result you expected.
- A reliable reference or independent calculation supporting the expected answer.
- Your browser and whether the problem occurs again after reloading.
For layout or accessibility problems, describe the control, screen size and steps needed to reproduce them. Check the changelog for recent updates that may relate to the issue.
Corrections and sensitive reports
Reports are evaluated against the calculator's stated method and sources. A confirmed numerical error should receive a regression example as part of its correction. Significant changes are recorded in the changelog. There is no guaranteed response time.
Use invented inputs and remove personal information from shared links. For a privacy or security matter, describe the concern by email and ask what details are needed before sending sensitive material.
