This policy describes the CalcOpenly website and its browser app. Contact the project maintainers through the contact page about this policy or a privacy concern.
Calculations and browser storage
Calculations run on your device. Settings, recent calculations, saved tools, history and your analytics choice can be stored in this browser. The service worker caches files so previously loaded features can work offline. We do not operate a server account or a database of your calculations.
Use History to export or clear calculation history and saved items. Your browser's site-data controls can remove all local data, including offline files, preferences and analytics consent. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to see its saved history.
Shared links and hosting requests
The address bar and links created with Share can include calculator inputs in a query string. Opening one sends the URL to the hosting service, and sharing it exposes the inputs to the recipient. Avoid putting confidential information into links. The host receives network information such as IP address, requested URL and browser information to deliver the website; its operational logs are separate from local calculator history.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is off until you allow it. If enabled, it uses cookies and sends page-visit, browser and device information to Google under measurement ID G-82F8F4G8RR. Our page-view events use the page path without calculator inputs, query strings or fragments. They do not include calculation results, search text or saved history. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled in our tag configuration.
You can decline analytics and still use every calculator. Change your choice below or from the footer's Privacy link. Withdrawing consent stops our analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete reports already held by Google. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

External services and links
The currency converter requests reference exchange rates from open.er-api.com and Frankfurter. The requested currency codes and dates, your IP address and network metadata reach those services; the amount you enter is calculated locally. Source references and external links lead to independent websites with their own policies.
Requests and policy changes
For privacy questions, email the address on our contact page. Use a minimal description and avoid sending passwords, full health records or unnecessary financial details. We update this page when the site's data handling changes, and record material changes in the changelog.
